SillySeason SillySeason is an artists’ collective (Cátia Tomé, Ivo Saraiva e Silva and Ricardo Teixeira) created in 2012 with the aim of reflecting about theatre and the performing arts, in a constant search for new models of creation. They have contributed to the development of new dramaturgies through continuous reflection on the nature and potential of theatre. Their work promotes the creation of objects that challenge conventional logic and structures that speculate on multifaceted performances. Tercer Abstracto Tercer Abstracto, a binational (CL/BR) program for theatre research and creation, was founded in 2012. Over the past ten years, they have produced ten shows, each aiming to explore the paradigmatic transformations of twentieth-century artistic vanguards and enhance the interrelations between arts and science. The program is coordinated by Chilean theatre director David Atencio and Brazilian actor and playwright Mateus Fávero, both blend artistic creation with scientific research in their work.
