In 2023, choreographer Francisco Camacho restages GUST, a choreography inspired by Jeff Wall’s photograph A Sudden Gust of Wind, first shown in 1997. GUST is regarded by many as an emblematic work in the history of Portuguese Nova Dança. The film captures the moment of the re-enactment, offering a reflective portrait of the creator and the act of creation while meditating on the intelligence of things and situations.
